Using the Crèche

To ensure that all children attending the crèche are safe and happy, we ask parents and carers to follow the guidelines below:

  1. On your first visit to the Women's Centre crèche you will be asked to complete a registration card for each child
  2. Shopper's children are able to stay for up to two hours.
  3. All parents/carers will be asked for a password when leaving a child and only the person in possession of that password will be allowed access to the child.
  4. In everyone's best interest, staff will not admit children who appear unwell.
  5. If your child wears nappies, please leave a spare.
  6. Staff will only offer water to drink so if you wish your child to have anything else, please provide your own.
  7. Staff are unable to give milk or solid feeds to babies and parents/carers will be called to the crèche if feeding becomes necessary.
  8. We welcome advance crèche bookings but appreciate being told if you are unable to keep the booking so it can be offered to someone else.
  9. The crèche has an Equal Opportunities policy, a Behaviour policy, and a Complaints procedure that are displayed on the wall.
