Using the Crèche
To ensure that all children attending the crèche are
safe and happy, we ask parents and carers to follow the guidelines
below:
- On your first visit to the Women's Centre crèche
you will be asked to complete a registration card for each child
- Shopper's children are able to stay for up to two
hours.
- All parents/carers will be asked for a password
when leaving a child and only the person in possession of that
password will be allowed access to the child.
- In everyone's best interest, staff will not admit
children who appear unwell.
- If your child wears nappies, please leave a spare.
- Staff will only offer water to drink so if you wish
your child to have anything else, please provide your own.
- Staff are unable to give milk or solid feeds to
babies and parents/carers will be called to the crèche if feeding
becomes necessary.
- We welcome advance crèche bookings but appreciate
being told if you are unable to keep the booking so it can be
offered to someone else.
- The crèche has an Equal Opportunities policy, a
Behaviour policy, and a Complaints procedure that are displayed on
the wall.
